About Me:
Sarah was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri and is a die-hard Chiefs fan. She played volleyball in high school and was blessed to play collegiately at Graceland University in Iowa. She sustained an injury to her low back during her collegiate career and was then introduced to the Physical Therapy world. Sarah attended Rockhurst University (RU) and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022. During her time at RU, she had opportunities to shadow and work as a student PT in various orthopedic, sports medicine, and pelvic health facilities.
Sarah is especially interested in working with CrossFit athletes for preventative and rehabilitation purposes. She plans to help bridge the gap between the strength & conditioning and physical therapy worlds in hopes of providing a more proactive, holistic approach to treating patients. Sarah is also interested in working with patients with pelvic health dysfunction to assist in their return to desired activities.
Outside the Clinic:
Some of Sarah’s personal interests include hiking, CrossFit, reading romance novels, and spending time with friends and family. To keep her competitive side alive, she enjoys pushing herself in CrossFit WOD’s and competitions. Since she is new to Phoenix, she is excited to explore the city.
