About Me
Sara was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, IL, and moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2012. She was heavily involved in athletics growing up, including dance, gymnastics, all-star cheerleading, softball and volleyball. After graduating with a BS in Exercise Science with a Psychology minor from NAU in Flagstaff, Sara moved back down to Phoenix to pursue her degree in occupational therapy at NAU’s Biomedical Campus. She has always had a passion for women’s healthcare, but after completing her capstone rotation with a pelvic floor occupational therapist during her doctoral program, Sara knew this was the path she was meant for.
Sara enjoys working with people of all ages and in all stages of life, and she has a strong passion for working with women during pregnancy and postpartum. Sara believes in a holistic, whole-person approach when it comes to patient care. She strives to utilize education and movement to promote self-advocacy, independence in meaningful activities, and a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
Outside the clinic, Sara enjoys farmer’s markets, live music, watching hockey (go Blackhawks!), and spending time with friends and family (and their dogs). Sara loves the outdoors, and often travels up to Flagstaff with her significant other for the cold weather and snow.
