About Me:
Ryan grew up in Gig Harbor, WA and moved to Arizona in 2005 to attend Arizona State University. Upon graduation, he became a certified strength and conditioning specialist affording him opportunities to train and coach youth athletes from elementary to the high school level.

Ryan began his career in Corporate Wellness as a Fitness Specialist for a top Fortune 500 Company assessing, training, and work conditioning company employees. After 5 years in the fitness industry, Ryan joined the Spooner team as a physical therapy technician while in the process of applying to physical therapy programs. In 2012, he relocated to San Diego, CA to pursue his Doctorate of Physical Therapy where he graduated with High Honors from the University of St Augustine.

After graduation, Ryan returned to Arizona and re-joined the Spooner Fountain Hills family in order to reconnect with the community, where he currently volunteers time with the Fountain Hills High School Athletic Programs.

Ryan has a passion for mentoring, educating, and coaching with a treatment philosophy that embodies all these traits as he believes successful patient outcomes begin with effective patient education and motivation. His philosophy utilizes the methodology that seeks to reset the body with manual therapy, reinforce change with patient education and activity modification, and reload the movement systems with corrective exercise.

Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Danielle, step son, Ethan and dog, Leo. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, football (GO HAWKS!), working out, taking road trips, and listening to and DJ’ing electronic music.
