About Me

Ryan grew up in Gig Harbor, WA and moved to Arizona in 2005 to attend Arizona State University. Upon graduation, he began his career in Corporate Wellness as a Fitness Specialist, while also working independently with athletes of all levels as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. In 2012, he relocated to San Diego, CA to pursue his Doctorate of Physical Therapy where he graduated with High Honors from the University of St Augustine.

After graduation, Ryan returned to Arizona and joined Spooner, working in multiple clinics throughout the valley, specializing in all orthopedic conditions as well as the vestibular system and sports performance. He has advanced skills in osteopathic manipulation and a multifaceted approach to treating individuals, utilizing a regional interdependence model. In 2019 he was promoted to a Clinic Director role, and currently manages a team in Biltmore.

Ryan has a passion for mentoring, educating, and coaching with a treatment philosophy that embodies all these traits as he believes successful patient outcomes begin with effective patient education and motivation. His philosophy utilizes the methodology that seeks to reset the body with manual therapy, reinforce change with patient education and activity modification, and reload the movement systems with corrective exercise and appropriate loading.

Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 children, 2 dogs and their cat. He loves watching football, maintaining his physical fitness and competing in 2 gun/3 gun competitions around the valley.
