About Me:
Pete grew up in Kansas City and attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska for his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and continued at Creighton University for his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree, graduating in 2011. He joined Spooner Ahwatukee in 2013 and moved over to his current home, Spooner East Chandler, in 2018 as the clinic director. Pete’s passion is treating athletes of all ages, both recreational and competitive. In the East Chandler clinic and in his practice, he has worked to create an environment and culture that is not only aimed at providing the best possible care for athletes and patients but one that is also enjoyable to be a part of, which is important in the healing process. Pete’s professional goals are to: 1) always continue to grow as a clinician and provide the best care for his athletes and patients and 2) to cultivate an environment in the Spooner East Chandler clinic that athletes and the local community can utilize to maintain physical health.
Outside the Clinic:
Outside the clinic, Pete loves hanging out with his wife, Christen, and his three energetic boys: Grayson, Hudson and Ryker. He frequently pretends to still be an athlete, regularly participating in recreational sports and exercise whenever he can. In his time away from work he can be found somewhere on a field or a court playing, watching (Go Royals, Go Chiefs, Go Creighton Bluejays) or coaching his kids’ sports.
