About Me:
Malia was born and raised in San Diego, CA with sport being an integral part of her life. Her background in athletics as well as her appreciation for health and fitness fueled her passion for learning about the functioning and rehabilitation of the body. She earned her BS in physiology from the University of Arizona where she competed in NCAA softball, and was afforded the opportunity to pursue her DPT at Northern Arizona University Phoenix Biomedical Campus. She completed a clinical rotation with Spooner during her DPT program and is inspired to begin her career in pursuit of helping individuals accomplish their functional goals and getting back to doing the activities they love.

Outside the Clinic
Malia enjoys spending time in the gym, hiking, learning new recipes, and being with her loved ones.
