About Me

Joelle was born and raised in Monterey, California. Having always had an affinity for creativity, movement, and helping others, the field of occupational therapy became the perfect fit for engaging Joelle’s creative mind and assisting people in living their best lives. Leading up to OT school, Joelle had the opportunity to work with various of populations in a variety of settings. Whether it was home health pediatrics or incontinence training with skilled nursing patients, she has had the opportunity to engage with patients from all walks of life and her experience has informed her love for treating across the life span.

As an occupational therapist, Joelle hopes to empower her patients through education and movement. She hopes to be an advocate for each of her patients and aims to create quality trust that encourages her patients to become experts on their own bodies. Joelle believes that the whole-person approach is the best approach, and addressing all aspects of life is the key to positively impacting health, recovery and progress.

When Joelle is not in the clinic she enjoys spending time with her husband and their cat, trying new restaurants and coffee shops with friends, playing softball and hiking, sewing and painting, and visiting family back in California.
