About Me:
Amanda joined Spooner as a technician at the Glendale clinic in 2012. After completing her DPT at A.T. Still University in 2016, she returned to the Glendale team as a Physical Therapist. She in now the Clinic Director of the Spooner Surprise City Center location as of March 2022.
In addition to treating general orthopedics, Amanda has found a passion in treating women who are going through their journey of fighting breast cancer. She has undergone advanced training in breast oncology and has become a Certified Breast Oncology Rehabilitation Therapist through the Physiologic Oncology Rehab Institute. Through the use of innovative manual therapy techniques, individualized care plans and compassion, Amanda is determined to assist women during their recovery from a mastectomy, lumpectomy, and side effects from chemo and radiation to allow them to play with their kids/grandkids, perform household chores with less difficulty and gain independence.
During her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her son and staying active through boxing and various other forms of working out.
