DRY NEEDLING

WHAT IS DRY NEEDLING?

Dry Needling works to relieve pain, improve range of motion, and reduce muscle tension. Small, thin needles are inserted through the skin into areas of the muscle called trigger points, which are sensitive areas, areas of tightness, or spasms in the muscle that are being treated. Overuse or injury can produce trigger points, and Dry Needling stimulates the release of them.

BENEFITS

Dry Needling certified therapists use this treatment to relieve pain locally or find the root of your pain. Spooner therapists will evaluate you to see if Dry Needling will compliment your current treatment plan and work with you to reduce pain, diminish inflammation, and further your healing process. We are on your team to help you move and feel your best.
