Course Description:

Join us for a morning of support and self-care! We’ll learn about the benefits of pelvic floor therapy with the team from Spooner North Phoenix in collaboration with Breast Practices | Arizona Breastfeeding Medicine and Wellness.

You’ll enjoy a light workout, learn about postpartum care, and discover how best to support your baby with conditions like torticollis and plagiocephaly.

Beyauna Billings recognized the importance of health education after working with populations that were unaware of the long-term impacts of their health related decisions. She currently serves as President of the Arizona Breastfeeding Coalition. 

“My priority is to empower families with knowledge and information throughout their breastfeeding experience.” 

SPEAKERS

Julia Ostoich, PT, DPT is a physical therapist and clinic director at Spooner North Phoenix. She treats general orthopedic conditions for people of all ages, but she specializes in treating torticollis and plagiocephaly in infants and babies.

Sara Gerhard, OTD, OTR/L is an occupational therapist at Spooner North Phoenix. She specializes in all conditions related to pelvic health and pre/postpartum care.  

Molly Ahlemeier, CSCS is a FIT (Functional Integrated Training) trainer at Spooner North Phoenix. She works with clients of all levels and ages to help them achieve their fitness goals. 

She is also a pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist
