October 26, 2024 @ 7:00 am – 10:00 am
Grab your shoes. Grab your water. Join us for a group run!
Fall weather and prime running season is here, and the Spooner team is ready to help you run better–whether you are just starting your journey as a runner or are a seasoned triathlete. Join us at the Move Better Run, hosted by Spooner Old Town’s Maria Kline, PT, DPT, and other members of the Spooner team!
This FREE group run will take-off from Spooner Old Town after a dynamic warmup designed to prepare your body for the demands of running. We will hit the greenbelt for an out and back, choose your own adventure run with the Spooner team. Runners and walkers will have an opportunity to complete 2 or 4 miles based on their current ability and the day’s motivation.
Stick around after the run for coffee, bagels, strategies to stay healthy while preparing for fall events, and camaraderie with your fellow runners.

Maria first joined Spooner in 2017 as a technician and then enrolled in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at USC. She returned to Spooner in 2022 as a physical therapist.
Maria became interested in the physical therapy profession after experiencing an injury during her first Ironman race. With a successful rehab, she was able to return to training for her next triathlon and had a passion for helping others return to sport as well. She is an endurance athlete coach and actively races in triathlons to this day.
Maria is passionate about bringing together her local endurance athlete community and engages in group runs and rides throughout the Valley. Maria is also passionate about supporting women in endurance sports and navigating women in their journey to motherhood.
