About Me
Jeremiah joined Spooner in May of 2023 shortly after graduating from Grand Canyon University where he got his B.A. in Exercise Science. He first started as a Technician for the Desert Ridge location and worked under Garrett then Molly later in the summer. While studying at GCU, he took an interest in powerlifting that eventually grew into a lifestyle change. Training daily as a competitive powerlifter who began coaching his own athletes shortly after. With his knowledge and experience as a competitive athlete, he understands what is like being on both sides of physical therapy. Having gone through physical therapy himself and now enforcing it as a technician, allows him to help his patients to the best of his ability.
Studying for the CSCS while working as a technician has expanded his knowledge and experience with using the latest methods of helping patients in getting back to where they want to be and achieve their goals. Observing therapists and listening to seminars about the latest studies in sports medicine, he was able to obtain as much information as possible to help prepare him for this role. He brings enthusiasm, bright energy, dedication, and the desire to be healthier each day by becoming a FIT Trainer.
Outside of the clinic, Jeremiah has a football background where he played for almost 13 years, with one year at the collegiate level. After giving up football due to a neck injury, he picked up powerlifting. Within this sport, he has over 5 competitions under his belt with many more to come. His passion for working out and wanting to live a healthier lifestyle is unmatched. If you don’t see him at work, you will be able to find him at the gym pumping iron and lifting some heavy circles.
