About Me:
Annika was born and raised in Wayzata, MN. During her time in the Wayzata she participated in Softball, Volleyball, Gymnastics, Soccer, Hockey, Pole Vaulting and started All-Star Cheerleading in high school. She attended the University of North Dakota and received a Bachelors in Spanish in 3 years and studied abroad for a summer in Santiago, Chile. During undergrad she was on the cheerleading team and supported football, volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball. she also coached cheerleading and was apart of Swing Dance Club. Annika continued her time at UND to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy where she had a clinical experience at the Spooner Ahwatukee location where she interacted with a large population in breast health, orthopedics, Parkinson’s, and neuro. She also had in-patient experience, sports rehabilitation, and pediatrics. She is excited to help patients regain their independence and return to the activities they enjoy while getting to become a part of the community herself. Annika is very excited to rejoin the Spooner team and the community she experienced as a student.
Outside the Clinic:
Outside of the clinic, Annika enjoys hiking, working out and dancing, weekend adventures, game nights with friends and family and would like to get back into tumbling and coaching for cheer.
